It’s Over Between Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson

After a year of dating, Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson are no longer together.

In an interview with a British media outlet (published on Wednesday, 9 October), Nyong’o revealed her single status, but she did not elaborate on when the break-up took place.

“My love for my cat [Yoyo] is singular,” the 41-year-old “Black Panther” actress said. “If I’m ever so lucky to be in a romantic relationship again, it’ll be because of him.

“I was ready to shut that door and lock it and bolt it. He has ensured that my heart remains open.”

Nyong’o first linked up with the “Dawson’s Creek” actor in October 2023, shortly before her split from sports commentator Selema Masekela. Meanwhile, Jackson’s estranged wife of four years, Jodie Turner-Smith, filed for divorce in the same month.

Two months later, the couple confirmed their romance when they were spotted holding hands during a romantic stroll in Joshua Tree, California.

Jackson has not yet made a statement regarding their break-up.
